With CreateAndAnchorFrames script creation and anchoring of a frame will be reduced in Ventura Publisher to one key stroke.
 
Instead of

1. Select frame tool
2. Select position
3. Apply frame tag or edit default frame tag properties.
4. Select anchor tool
5. Select anchor position
6. Select frame

it is just one key stroke after installing CreateAndAnchorFrames.

By dividing the script in two parts, a small calling part, which will be automatic created with a special script generator script, and a common used main part, you can create as many scripts you needed for different frame tags.

CreateAndAnchorFrames comes now with a complete installation program, which will automaticly detect your Ventura Publisher version, installs needed files in a common used folder and needed scripts in the script folder of your Ventura installation. Program switch automaticly between international (english) and german language.
 
A script generator script creates all desired scripts for every needed frame tag.

Test CreateAndAnchorFrames

This script is offered as shareware. Download this programm and test it for a maximum of 30 days. The only restriction of this test version is a message once a day, that it is a test version.

To test:

1. Download setup program:

Fixes and improvements in Version 1.2:

1. Running a script without an open publication will result in an error message.
2. The program now creates scripts with the prefix "_caaf_" instead of simply "_".
3. Before creating a script, the program now checks for a preexisting script of the same name, and offers to overwrite or to rename the existing script.
4. If frame height and width are not specified in a given frame tag, the frame created will use size from default frame (144pt).
5. The program now assigns only the anchor name (=name of frame tag + incremented number). This enables Ventura to assign a picture file name as the name of the frame when the picture is attached to the frame.
6. If the frame tag expected by a given frame creation script does not exist in the current publication, an error message will result and the frame will not be created.

1. Only Ventura Publisher 10, german version:
   While installation, program checks, if german version exists. If found, program looks for a folder
   "...\Corel\Ventura 10\Ventura\Skripts"
   . If not exist, this folder will be created and the script
   "_caaf_createscripts"
   will be copied to this folder.

Please note:

Dlls and scripts are used at your own risk.

Although I have carefully tested all scripts, I am unable to rule out any errors, which may occur when running the scripts in your own environment.

Test the scripts with test documents first, before using them on scheduled urgent projects!
